Lush
greenery, bright flowers that smell of fresh air, the spots that rekindle your
childhood with the tyre swings, sandpit or tree deck, the calming water
feature, the lawns and the perfect space are all the ingredients for that perfect day to clear
your mind. The property is a foresight of dad but mum is the brainchild for how
it has shaped today. Each flower, vegetable, fruit and plant smile at her in
acknowledgement for the detail and care she puts into each of them. You should
see our thrill with each bite of the organic fruits and vegetables that are
prepared so deliciously. It’s truly a luxury of a different kind, but to the
simple heart its the world.
Today the farm has evolved in so many ways. We are thrilled that 'our space of tranquility' is a magic space for so many- adults and kids. Our vision and passion to revive the culture of picnic baskets is being adapted slowly but steadily. In this day and age of mall cultures, restaurants and fast foods, the exciting picnic basket and the simple outdoor games were quick fading. These were the moments we remembered the most with our parents and grandparents and hope that the future generations can experience this as well.
We have enjoyed every little experience here.. be it the memorable parties, the school and family picnics, the heart warming get togethers. The fun sessions with so many talented folks who rekindle the passion of stories, theatre, songs, crafts, gardening amongst others continue to aspire us. With them, we have learnt, enriched, shared and dream of making little differences in everyone's life.
The sound of innocent giggles, the joyous screams, the scrambling of sand in the sand pit, feeling the breeze through their hair hanging on the tyre swings or just feeling on top of the world on the tree deck makes every single effort of opening this space and sharing it with everyone, such a blessing.
Today on friendship day, I want to thank all my family and friends for helping me make this dream a reality and encouraging my aspirations always. Without our space of calmness and your support, my happy days are never complete
