Years have passed, with new crossroads, obstacles, responsibilities and experiences. But somethings just remain the same... pure, simple, memorable and unconditional. While treading down memory lane is almost inevitable with ki reminiscing our Pune days...our heartfelt conversations make these 'pick me up days' much anticipated and awaited. It was a complete 'me time' day with my bestie Krithika Akkaraju. Couldnt have asked for a more perfect day..and a memorable way to have our first catch up in 2015.
Oodles of laughter, large doses of pk joy, generous servings at tgif, soul conversations, retail therapy for us fashionistas and the eagerness to meet again soon... which naturally featured in our resolutions. So here s to such a fun day and look forward to many more

Day 58.. ‪#‎ 100daysofhappiness‬   ‪#‎ 100happydays‬ This one was long overdue..in fact from feb onwards, but am not sure why I delayed such a valuable post. She is my forever friend, cause I have actually known her for almost forever -  Suhasini Ranganathan  whom I fondly call Su. Neerja Bhanot.. bravery in the air!

Day 93.. #100daysofhappiness #100happydays Tears were flowing uncontrollably and I almost thought that I would bawl. People around me were choking on emotion and I was sure that everyone was grateful it was dark and no one was visible. It was not just tears, but smiles too. It was not the filmy bollywood entertainment from any angle, but had a story that had to be told. Thankfully, it was a story that was narrated in perfection, had the impact that it deserved and left the audience, heart broken and motivated all in those couple of hours. While it inspired many even for a couple of seconds, it was a meaningful cinematic experience and a biopic that is lasting. My 100 days has tributes of people or experiences that are meaningful in my lifetime, so this definitely fits the criteria... a true story from my lifetime, when I was 6 years old. Where's the shining star?

Day 26.. ‪#‎ 100daysofhappiness   ‪#‎ 100happydays While I have been on a roll of tributes on people in my life, I chanced upon a news that saddened me unknowingly, yet tremendously. This would have been fitting yesterday, with the many RIP's that sprung up on everyone's timeline attributed to the ever talented and heartwarming Robin Williams, but in my opinion, its never too late to share a word or two about true admiration. He is not the handsome hunk you would ogle over as a film actor but he is real, and that makes him so much more loved. Everyone loved him for his comedy, and so did I, but I loved him for his ability to make me laugh and cry at the same time. A film is complete when both these emotions have been felt and in my opinion he did a fantastic job of this. He represented life as is, and what was so enduring was that every time we laughed with his quick wit, he found a way to make us love life more.
