The celebrity awe
First day first show is all we hear,
The excitement and thrill is loud and clear.
The television, newspapers, internet, all scream the same,
Everyone is chanting the same film name.
Is it the cast or the storyline that made the news,
Language can be any, sub titles are the cues.
The film thrives or flops, hard to say,
But the celebrity is now an icon to stay.
Walking the streets, much to be done,
Often there is a celebrity spotted in the sun.
Some make it more dramatic than others for sure,
The guards and trailing contingent is a spectacle here.
The cameras click rapidly in all the chaos here,
The crowd is eagerly pushing their might with cheer.
A small glimpse, or that selfie memory they hope,
With that celebrity in awe they cope.
Their homes are a spot to tour in awe,
Their lives no longer have the privacy law.
All that spotlight and invasion might feel unsettling to most,
A helpless cry, a platter hard to boast.
The gossip columns in the newspapers track them close,
The social media pages are a bigger dose.
The many Paparazzi hoping not to miss the little details here,
At any location, every glimpse is dear.
The celebrity families have lived in this drama in life,
It's even the new born and not just the parents, sibling or wife.
While this glory seems to be a thrill for most,
But seems like a dilemma and often a nightmare to coast.
For most it's that classic fan moment there,
Where every effort seems worthy to care.
No denying the celebrity has accomplished much to gather this cheer,
But the larger than life aura is the question here.
For most the lines seem blur,
The lines between public and private are hard to adhere.
While the job seems to have its own stress for sure,
This unseen public pressure is definitely no cheer.
